Raid Plan Week of Oct 9 - The Sone Guard & Feng the Accu

This week will be our first raid of the new expansion! YAY!

Raiders are reminded that in order to raid on Tuesday:
- All your gear must be gemmed and enchanted (Jov, Pars and Ram will be on for the hour before raid if you need gems/enchants)
- Aim for an ilvl around 463
- Have all your addons updated (DBM, aggro meter for dps, decursive for heals)
- Bring your own food for your best stat buff if you have it, we will provide feasts
- Flasks and potions will be provided
- Be online at 6:45 server and ready for invites

NOTE: Queues have been LONG lately, so start logging on early


Tuesday Oct 9 - Mogu'shan Vaults

The Stone Guard

Overview

This fight is all about tanking coordination and avoiding damage to help the healers conserve mana.

2 tanks, 3 heals, 5 dps

Our Strategy

- We will be aiming to only overload the guard that is casting petrify, thereby not taking any unprotected overloads.
- Each tank will pull one inactive (not casting overload) guard to either side of the room, while the ranged dps and heals stand in the middle. Melee will have to run back and forth... sorry Don.
- The active (casting overload) guard will be taunted back and forth to make sure that his energy gets to 100 first and only he overloads.
- All bosses share health so multidotting and cleaves on the 2 guards that are standing together will help a lot.

These videos do not use the strat we will of taunting the active guardian back and forth, but they are still good overviews of the fight
