Must Like Dogs

Make sure you have some type of doggy-type companion pet to take with you raiding this week. Yes, that really is all you have to do to get the achievement for the StoneGuard. A perky pug works but if you don't have one, get the worg pup from BlackrockSpire. Ask Ram if you don't know how to find it.

This fight has a lot going on, but nothing too complicated.

This fight is a step up in difficultly from the previous bosses. It is a complex fight where personal responsibility is huge.

Overview (big ty to Jov for writing it all up!):

Phase 1: This phase is all about managing the de-buff from standing on the platform.

Ranged and healers stand inside the circle, moving out at 5 stacks, then moving right back in. Everyone needs to heal/DPS from inside the circle as much as possible the entire fight.

During this phase an add will spawn. Ben, who starts outside the circle until the add spawns, picks up the boss, and then Tofur grabs the add and brings it outside the circle when it is below 20%. The add NEEDS to die outside the circle or it could kill the raid when it blows up. Tofur and Don will reset stacks at this point, Don will get back on the boss, and Tofur waits until the next add spawns. When the add spawns, Tofur picks up the boss, Ben grabs the add, brings it outside at 20%, rinse and repeat...

Phase 2: This phase is a personal DPS check.

There are 6 adds that come out of the boss (1 for each DPS...) and move towards a pillar on the edge of the circle. We NEED to get 4 waves down or we have no chance at the enrage. after 4 waves go down, everyone ignores the 5th wave and DPS's the boss. The DPS check in this phase is HIGH. When 1 single add reaches the outside, the phase ends...

Phase 3: This isn't a difficult phase. DPS on each pillar will kill their pillar, and then move on the adds. The tanks need to be on opposite sides of the room, pick up the adds and bring them to the "console" where ranged and heals will get setup for the repeat of phase 1. As soon as the circle is back up, tanks need to immediately get into melee range or we get death gripped and all die. People cant stand in the white shit on the ground, or they die. The end of this phase is more about the regroup then anything as the adds from phase 3 will still be up when we get back to phase 1. We kill the phase 3 adds and then move back into position for phase 1 before the phase 1 adds start spawning again.
